Ajiri Barnes , MD joined the Mallard Creek office in 2008. She attended medical school at Indiana University School of Medicine and then went on to Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC to complete her residency in family medicine.

Dr. Barnes has been involved with many professional associations including the American Academy of Family Physicians and the North Carolina Academy of Family Physicians.
She has a special interest in pediatrics, adolescent medicine and urban underserved medicine.
Dr. Barnes enjoys reading, scrapbooking, watching movies and sports. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, school activities and her church.
