CURTIS PREIK , MD

Curtis Preik, MD, originally from Kingston, Ontario, Canada, graduated from the University of Florida with a BS in Exercise Physiology. He attended medical school at American University of the Caribbean, Saint Maarten, Netherlands Antilles. He was previously a Family Medicine resident at Lousiana State University in New Orleans and transferred to our program after Hurricane Katrina. Dr. Preik is married and enjoys spending time with this family. His interests include African medical education and he is on the board of directors for Doctors on Call for Service (DOCS), a nonprofit organization dedicated to the continuing medical education of African physicans. He travels yearly to Rwanda and Democratic Republic of the Congo on DOCS mission trips.
