Joni Short, RN, MSN, FNP, is a native of North Carolina. She received her associate degree in nursing at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College in 1997. She then completed her B.S. in nursing in 2001 and her Masters of Science in nursing with an emphasis in nursing education in 2003 from Gardner Webb University. She earned her post-masters certificate as a family nurse practitioner at Duke University in 2006.
Mrs. Short has worked as a registered nurse in geriatrics, emergency critical care, and nursing education.
She and her husband, Carl, live in China Grove where they enjoy spending time with family and friends.
