Tonya M. Hudson, MD has been with Carolinas HealthCare System for more than 10 years providing quality and compassionate care to her patients. As a Board certified Family Physician, Dr. Hudson provides a broad scope of care to her patients who span the age of newborn to geriatrics. She has particular interests in Women's health issues, adolescent medicine and in closing the gap of health care disparities that exist amoung minority populations. Her practice philosphy is one of educating her patients about preventive medicine and disease management in order that they may become empowered to live healthy, happy and productive lives.
Dr. Hudson graduated from Boston University School of Medicine and completed her Family Medicine residency at Duke University/FAHEC in Fayetteville, NC. She began her career in Family Medicine with the National Heath Service Corps and later transitioned to private practice by joining Carolinas Physician Network.
Dr. Hudson is actively involved in the life of her church where she servces on the Deacon Council and teaches Adult Church School. She is an avid reader, enjoys golf, movies, sports and travel. |
