Rebecca Rung, MD attended Boston University School of Medicine in Boston, MA and completed her residency training at the University of Massachusetts in Worcester, MA. Prior to joining Cabarrus Family Medicine in 2008, she spent three years fulfilling a National Health Service Corps commitment in a small, rural remote community in northern Maine. She has special special interests in women's health services including obstetrics; and also in pediatrics, adolescent health, and hospice care.
Dr. Rung is an active member of the American Association of Family Physicians and is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. She resides in Concord with her husband and their young son.
