Families Eating Smart & Moving More
On October 4, Families Eating Smart & Moving More will kick off another series of teaching families how to live healthier lifestyles, based on its plan, shop, and fix method of preparation. Last year, 80 Cabarrus County residents attended the pilot program, with 32 graduating after attending all four sessions in a series. This year, the Cooperative Extension and Cabarrus Family Medicine would like to reach more local families. Read more...

Sports Medicine Symposium
Cabarrus Family Medicine Residency Program, CMC-Northeast, and Cabarrus County Schools sponsor the annual Cabarrus County Sports Medicine Symposium. This program is designed to provide coaches, athletic trainers, physical therapists, physicians and other healthcare professionals with current information on prevention, assessment and management of selected topics/injuries in the field of sports medicine.
