Jim Shepherd, M.D., a native of Concord, North Carolina, was born at NorthEast Medical Center, formerly Cabarrus Memorial Hospital. He attended Wake Forest University as an undergraduate and Bowman Gray School of Medicine. Dr. Shepherd completed his residency training at Duke University Medical Center where he served as chief resident. He is currently the Clinic Director at Cabarrus Family Medicine – Kannapolis.
Dr. Shepherd's special interests are adolescent and behavioral medicine. He enjoys fishing, sports, church, and the outdoors.
